Welcome to the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences (SMU) institution page! In 2011, the Health Science faculty (Medunsa) separated from the University of Limpopo’s main campus. This is when Sefako Makgatho began. It first opened it’s doors in 2015. It is located next to the Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital.

HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Get your application form.
SMU has one method for applying – a hardcopy application. This means that you need to download the application form below, complete it and then post it or hand it in by hand with the necessary documents.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday: 7h30 – 16h00
No applications will be accepted via email or fax.

Step 4: Apply for residence if you need student accommodation.
