It’s a big job and we need you to help us out. Read through the descriptions and choose the best one that suits you, we’ve got the introverts and extroverts covered.

As a writer, you will contribute to EduOne through articles based on the article briefs we send out once a month. You will be representing EduOne in your articles and would need to following the style guidelines as well as be dedicated to meeting deadlines. You will write on a range of topics – from advice, to funding, to motivation, to something fun to do on the weekend.

Promoter

You will be required to attend expos (free lunch – score!) on behalf of EduOne, be informed and educated on all of our content, be prepared to do various activations and any other promotion work that we may require. You need to be positive and be willing to have fun with our users! Please note transport is not provided. You will be refunded for travel.

Researcher

This role will be slightly more time consuming and will entail exclusive researching. We will provide a wide array of topics and you will be required to obtain the information we need, whether it be through a Google search, survey, Typefrom or interviews. You’ll be required to do data analysis and then send a report to EduOne upon completion.

Key Characteristics:

  • Proactive – meaning, if you aren’t competent with all of the Key Skill Areas (on the right), you will be by the time we’ve received your application.
  • Creative – the ability to innovate is a vital part of our work and we don’t go anywhere without our creativity.
  • Results focussed & Deadline driven – it is important that everything you do makes the boat move faster. Meet those deadlines.
  • Professional communicator – it’s like the modern day respect to take communication seriously (yes, reply to those emails).

How to Apply?

  1. Complete the form to the below.
  2. Submit the application form along with the documents requested, this depends on the type of Ambassador you wish to become.
  3. Successful applicants will join our network of EduOne Ambassadors, have access to our awesome startup offices in Cape Town, get entered into competitions and of course be able to build your CV and earn money doing it.

What happens next?

Once we’ve received your application form and responses, we’ll be in contact! If we like what we see, we’ll contact you to request more documents. Or we’ll want to grab a cup of coffee or do a telephonic interview to get to know you better and see if you’ll be the right fit for EduOne.
