Up your Bachelor of Education degree with Honours

Many think that once you qualify as a teacher, that’s that. You’ve done what you need to in order to have a successful teaching career and that the only way up from here, is by earning favour with those above you at the school where you work.

Luckily this is not the case.

Just as it is with any other degree, you can further your studies. It is possible to expand on your knowledge and skills by doing postgraduate studies. With education, there are a few different postgraduate honours courses that you can pursue. However, with Open Learning Group (OLG), there is a specific programme you can study from the comfort of your own home, while continuing your career.

As is with any university programme, there are specific requirements that you need to meet.  It is important to note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the course.  The university will select the top candidates out of all of the prospective students.

You need the following to be considered for the programme:

  • Pass rate of 65% in previous qualification.
  • Proficiency in basic computer literacy.
  • Internet access.
