Want to study in 2018? Browse 2018 Institution Application Dates

If you would like to study in 2018, you need to be aware of the 2018 application dates. The earlier you submit your application, the better your chances of acceptance. Let’s get started.

Some Need-to-knows

Once you know the application dates (opening & closing) for the institutions you want to apply for, you can get started with applying to these institutions and making sure you don’t miss any applications.

Before you apply, there are three main documents that almost all institutions require. Make sure you have these on the ready:

  1. A certified copy of your ID
  2. Proof of payment of any application fees
  3. A certified copy of your grade 11 results and latest grade 12 results

Getting your documents certified sounds more fancy than it actually is. All you need to do is head down to your local police station or post office and ask them to certify your documents. Sometimes they won’t do the copying for you, so make sure you have a photocopy and the original document with you.

FYI: South Africans learners wishing to apply online will need a working email address and an ID number. Foreign learners wishing to apply will need to have their passport number.

NBTs are NB!

Applicants must check individual further requirements for each course and each tertiary institution. Please also be aware of NBTs and check with your university if you need NBT results to apply. For more information on NBT’s click here.

Keep Calm
